Charles Stanley sponsors new Cocklebarrow Shopping Mall

Wealth manager Charles Stanley is set to support a new initiative at the annual Cocklebarrow Races on Sunday January 23rd 2022. The firm will sponsor the indoor shopping mall, supplementing the range of activities throughout the day.

Cocklebarrow Races took an enforced break during the Covid shutdown in 2021, however, it’s now all systems go to relaunch at the end of January and bring racing fans back to this eclectic gathering of the faithful around the Cotswolds.

The Shopping Mall, in association with Charles Stanley, will bring together premium food producers and vendors alomngside other independent retailers in a Cotswold’s take on Fortnum’s or Harrods. Speaking for Cocklebarrow, Mike Wills, said : “After the Christmas break, this is the first major rural event in the Cotswolds and it gives vendors a chance to trade at outdoor events once again. Our indoor heated Shopping Mall will be a popular addition to Cocklebarrow’s highly sociable atmosphere, and we’ve already seen lots of interest from local retailers. With Charles Stanley’s backing, we can improve the experience for all of our visitors”.

Charles Stanley will also lend its name to a race during the afternoon - a further chance for clients to gather at the Cotswolds' first big event of the new year.
